To understand how God brought different language into the world, students worked in small groups to build towers using toothpicks and marshmallows.  Students were not permitted to talk to each other and certain students could only touch certain materials.  Some students could only touch toothpicks, while others could only touch marshmallows.  This activity helped students gain an understanding of how difficult it would be to build a tower if you could not communicate effectively with one another.  Read more about this story in Genesis 11: 1-9!
